Repair Cafe at Abbeyfield Park House

Our friends over at Green City Action, based in Abbeyfield Park House in Burngreave, are holding a special event on Saturday 23rd March to celebrate the relaunch of their Toolbank project after a major re-vamp. As well as the Toolbank itself, varous other local organisations will be in attendance including Gareth and the team from BitFixIt, who often attend our Repair Cafes to offer repairs and advice on all things tech related.

Repair Sheffield will be holding a special Repair Cafe as part of the event, which brings out activities to an area of the city where we have not perviously operated. So if you live in the Burngreave area (or even if you don’t but can travel) why not come along and see how making and repairing can be a cost effective and environment friendly alternative to buying things new. As with all our Repair Cafes, the repairs are free unless parts are required. However a donation is much appreciated.
