Where can I get shellac?

I was given a vintage sewing machine (the old black ‘Singer’ wind-up type) the other day and it’s now on the bench for some restoration work. As often happens with these machines, the original paint finish is quite worn and needs restoring. I know how to do this, but I need some shellac, which was the original coating that Singer used as a clear coat over the paint and decals.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of some shellac these days?
